Padres trade staff ACE Jake Peavy to the Yanks

In a stunning turn of events the AP is reporting that the Yankees have pulled off a megadeal with the San Diego Padres sending CFer Melky Cabrera & Wang to the Padres for Jake Peavy & Heath Bell. This move addresses the Padres need for a CFer while filling the hole in the rotation that Peavy leaves. It gives the Yankees a legit staff ACE, and a much needed boost in the bullpen.
